Ranton Village Cricket Match

The annual Village Cricket Match will be held on 16th of July at Brook House Farm.

Starting from 2pm.

As well as the cricket match there will be a Cake Stall, Tombola, Cream Teas and a BBQ.

Also as usual the last event of the day will be the egg throwing competition.

 
 
All Saints School Summer Fete

The All Saints Infant School Summer Fete is set for 2nd of July from 1pm to 4pm.

Adult and Childrens Tombola, Cake Stall, Cream Teas, Raffle with excellent prizes, Bouncy Castle, Face painting and much more.

 
 
Fish and Chip Supper Quiz
There will be a Quiz in the Village Hall on Friday 1st of July

Tickets are £7.50 and £4.00 for children (Including Fish and Chips)

BT Race To Infinity

BT are currently asking residents of areas not connected with faster broadband whether they want it's new super fast service.

Unfortunately the Seighford exchange where we are all connected to is not big enough for them to consider upgrading automatically, but if 75% of people that are connected to this exchange register an interest BT may be forced to reconsider.

Ranton Village Craft Fayre


The annual village Craft Fayre will be held on the 25th of September between 1pm and 4pm at the village hall.

Come and buy some wonderful home made cakes, biscuits and preserves.

There are lots of plants to top up your borders, as well as local artists and crafters.

If there is nothing that takes your fancy then simply join us for some coffee and cake

 
 
Summer Barn Dance

There will be a Barn Dance at Brookhouse Farm on Saturday 12th of June

Tickets are £6.50 for adults and £3.25 for children (no under 14's due to Health and Safety rules) the price includes a Fish and Chip supper, tickets are available from Chris Reynolds 282281

Quiz Night

There is a Quiz Night at the Village Hall this Friday (30th of April).

Be there at 7pm for a 7:30 start, tickets cost £6.00 and include a fish and chip supper. Bring your own drink if you want to.

Christmas Fayre - Sat 5th December

Santa will be driving around the village at dusk and arrive at the Village Hall at 5pm for the turning on of the Christmas Tree lights.

The Fayre will feature a BBQ, Mince Pies and Mulled Wine, along with an assorment of stalls for Cakes, Preserves and all sorts of lovely Christmas Presents.

If anyone can help with donations of new, or good as new, boxed / wrapped gifts please take them to Hillberry, Brookside, Brogaran, Stocking Lane, or drop them off on the morning at the Village Hall. (No bric-a-brac or videos)
